The most important thing I learned was, the quicker you provide them with all the information they require to book, the more likely they are to book with you.

I won't bore you with all the details, but basically based on what I had learned I came up with a 5 point plan to improve communication and bookings. I started checking my email more regularly, I also made a point of making sure I addressed all questions, I started including extra information in the bottom of my emails etc.

Then one summers evening as I was basking in the sun with my usual glass of red, I was looking at the results of my new plan, I came up with an idea, the issue was communication and how quick our prospective clients received all the information they needed to book. I thought, what if someone visiting our web site could talk to us live right there from the site.

So being a programmer, I set about designing a program that would enable me to do just that. The result was Book-Live! After 8 months of development and testing the end product was finally ready.

I installed it on our web site and within days the bookings came rolling in, people visiting our site could just click a button, this would send an alert to my computer in the house, all I had to do was click to accept the incoming enquiry and a box would open allowing me to communicate direct with my web site visitor.
